TRICHOLOGY SERVICES

All trichology treatments begin with a thorough consultation. Certified trichologist Mila Lamberson will ascertain the current condition of your hair and scalp, She uses specialized equipment to examine your scalp under a powerful microscope. You will also be asked to complete questionnaires concerning your diet, exercise, lifestyle, and relevant medical history. If applicable, please bring any current blood test results to your appointment - this allows her to recognize and assess any potential issues and recommend necessary treatment.

Trichologists are not medical professionals; rather, they are clinicians trained to recognize and assess the first signs of symptoms suggesting imbalances or maladies through a holistic approach to scalp care. The goal is to identify and treat disorders and diseases of the hair and scalp based on the root cause of the issue. If said cause is beyond the holistic scope of Mila’s expertise, she will refer the client to the appropriate medical practitioner.

The Initial Consultation

The Initial Trichological Consultation provides a comprehensive assessment of your hair and scalp health, identifying any underlying issues or conditions. This personalized session includes expert advice on treatment options and tailored recommendations to enhance your hair care regimen.

Follow-Up Appointment 

A Follow-Up Appointment provides an opportunity for clients to discuss progress, address any concerns, and refine their goals after initial consultations or treatments. Recommended every 3-4 months after initial visit. Clients may be asked to provide additional relevant data to ensure progress in treatment. This service is only available to clients who have been seen for their Initial Trichological Consultation.

Malibu Head Spa Treatment (available with or without blow dry and style)

The Malibu Head Lab Treatment offers a luxurious and revitalizing experience that focuses on scalp health and relaxation. Products used are vegan and all natural, providing a thorough exfoliation of the scalp with a deep cleanse and cooling finish using the Spa Mist II system.

Spa Mist II Hair and Scalp Treatment (also available with or without blow dry and style)

Spa Mist II Hair and Scalp Treatment uses a state-of-the-art device that uses ultrasonic technology to generate microscopic water particles. This allows a gentle opening of the hair cuticles and skin pores to provide a deeply effective and individualized treatment. Included in this service are a scalp massage and exfoliation, as well as application of customized techniques and products to continue established treatment of your hair and scalp.

Low Level Laser Light Therapy (LLLT) Weeks 1-16 (booked over four sessions)

Laser light painlessly penetrates deep into the tissues of the scalp, stimulating micro-circulation of blood supply. This increases cell energy to promote hair growth and thickness. To ensure efficacy, this treatment needs to be administered twice weekly. This service may only be booked at the discretion of the trichologist as part of an ongoing treatment plan. Booked in one-month sessions totaling three months.
